Answer: 25% profit

Step-by-step explanation:

S.P of 20 candies = Rs. 150

Profit = C.P of 5 candies

We know,

S.P - C.P = P

20 S.P - 20 C.P = 5 C.P

20 S. P = 25 C.P

C.P/S.P = 20/25

C.P : S.P = 20 : 25

Profit % = P/C.P * 100 = 5/20 * 100 = 25%

ALTERNATE:

Since P = C.P of 5 candies and as he had sold 20 candies (he should have definitely bought 20)

Directly, P% = 5/20 * 100 = 25%
