It means that his 88 percent salary is 22000
we need to know his total salary ,
For this we use direct variation
percentage          salary
     88                     22000
   100                       x
By doing cross multiplication,
∴88×x=100×22000
∴x=100×22000÷88
∴x=25000Rs.
∴That persons total salary is Rs.25000.
