Speed of 2nd Car = 40 km/Hr

Step-by-step explanation:

First Car runs at Speed 40 km/hr

Second car Runs at  S  km/hr

Let say They Cross each other after T hrs

Distance Covered by 1st  = 40T  km

Distance Covered by 2nd = ST  km

Let Total Distance = 40T + ST

Remaining Distance of  1st = 40+ST - 40T  =  ST  km

Remaining Distance of 2nd  = 40 + ST - ST = 40T  km

ST  = 2.5 * 40

40T  = 2.5S

S/40  = 40/S

=> S² =  40²

=> S = 40

Speed of 2nd Car = 40 km/Hr

40:40 = 1:1
