We have a square so it is obvious that all sides are equal.. Therefore the max displacement is considered to be the diagonal of the square... Using Pythagoras theorem we can find the length of diagonal as angle between two sides is 90 degree.. Answer maybe 100root2

there is difference between displacement and distance

Given,
The length of each side of the square field is 100m.
To find,
The maximum displacement possible in that square field.
Solution,
We can easily solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.
Now, the displacement is the straight linear distance between two points. And the longest linear length in any square is it's diagonal.
So, if a person moves through the diagonal of that field then he will achieve the maximum displacement.
Length of diagonal = √2×100 = 100√2 metres
Hence, maximum displacement will be of 100√2 metres.
