A person walks for 4 km towards East, turns left and walks straight for 5 km and then turns right again walks for 8 km straight. Find the ratio of total displacement to distance covered by the person.​

For this we will have to draw the path of the person with the help a ruler and a scale of 1cm=1km. For the displacement we will measure the distance between the initial and the final positions with the help of ruler. It comes out to be about 13(as measured by me). so the displacement Is about 13km. Now for the distance we'll sum all the values. Our answer wil be 17km. So the Ratio will be 13:17
