A person was climbing on a building . he slips 1 m for every 5 metre he climbs up. If the building is 53 m high and he takes 5 seconds to climb 1 m find the total time taken by him to get on the top of the building.​

1m slipped for every 5m climbed. Building height is 53m. He takes 5 seconds to climb every 1m.

So, 5x5=25 seconds, 5-1=4,

so, the rate of ascent is 25seconds per 4m. So, 53/4=13 (The remainder is ignored as he OBVIOUSLY won't slip at the last step.)

SO, 13x25 = 325!
