Answer:

0.25 x 10^12

Explanation:

We consider photon's speed as same as of light because photon is massless.

Applying de-broglie's formula for wavelength.

lamda is plancks constant = 6.63 x 10^-34

The wavelength of the photon is 0.25x10⁻¹² m.

Given,

The mass of the photon is 8.6x10⁻³⁰ kg.

To Find,

The wavelength of the photon.

Solution,

Using the de Broglie's formula

λ = h/mv

where

λ is the wavelength of the photon

h is the Planck's constant = 6.6x10⁻³⁴

m is the mass of the photon = 8.6x10⁻³⁰ kg

v is the velocity = 3x10⁸ m/s.

Now,

λ = 6.6x10⁻³⁴/(8.6x10⁻³⁰*3x10⁸)

λ = 0.25x10⁻¹² m

Hence, the wavelength of the photon is 0.25x10⁻¹² m.
