Picnic entertainment is the best tool. We get bored every day with a similar routine and want to get rid of work and anxiety in our life for some time and picnic is the best solution for that. We must continue to plan a picnic from time to time. With our classmates in school, we can also go to the picnic and enjoy it with our family on Sundays.

It is a matter of last Sunday when I and my entire family went to the canal near the garden to celebrate a picnic. On the day the weather was very pleasant and the clouds were cloudy. We were all enjoying the weather. We were out at home from 9 am and reached there at 10 o'clock. We have eaten food, the game is similar to the pudding and kept the mat in the car beforehand. On that day a lot of people were coming in that garden. We all sat down and talked a lot of things and then wept in the cold water of the canal and were putting water on each other. Until then Mummy had cooked food for us and we enjoyed the delicious pakodas and sandwiches. We lay down under the open sky for a little while and enjoyed pure air. Then we played badminton in which Mum and Mami were in a team and Papa and my sister in another team. Our team had won.

It started raining around 5 am in the evening and we got all the goods back and moved towards the house. On the way we enjoyed the rain and everyone sang together. When we reached home, it became very dark and then we talked all day and remembered the moments of happiness. We were all happy because of the picnic and were free of tension.

Introduction

In order to escape from the hustle and bustle of the routine life, a retreat is a must. What can be more enjoyable than a picnic time with family with whom we do not get to spend enough time? A picnic not only freshens up the mind, but also helps us to explore new places and enjoy food with our family.

The Picnic – How It Was

We chose the community park of our locality that is situated right beside the limpid brook. The park had a children’s play area where the kids of our family played on slides, swings and other play equipments.

We carried our lunch to the park and decided to have it at the separate picnic area, which we had reserved for that day. After lunch, we sat near the brook, fed the ducks and squirrels and took a walk along the trail. The sunset seen above the brook during twilight was magical and we returned before it was dark.

Conclusion

It was a day well spent with all the members of the family and with this we had a great opportunity to breathe in the fresh air. Escaping the daily routine for a day and being in nature’s lap is definitely important in life.
