Let the total number of students be x. Then , it is given that 60% of x is 18. ➡60/100 × x = 18 ➡ x = 30 . Hence , there are 30 students in the class. Number of Boys = total no. of students - total no. of girls. 30 - 18 = 12. Hence , the no. of boys is 12.
