The perimeter of a rectangular hall is 160 meters. Its length and breadth are
in the ratio 3 : 5. What is the area of the hall?

Let lenght and breadth be 3x and 5 x respectively
2 (3x+5x)=160
8x=160/2
x=80/8=10
Length = 10×3=30 m
Breadth =10×5=50m
Area of hall=30m×50m=1500m^2
