A piece of ice with a stone frozen in it is at the bottom of a glass of water. What happens to the water level when the ice melts?

Density of the stone remains same after the ice melts. As the density of ice is lower than that of water, it's volume is more than that of molten water.

So after the ice melts the level of water reduces.
