a piece of iron when placed on a block of wood,this makes the wood float lower in water. if the iron piece is suspended benearh the wooden block,would it float at same depth? or lower or higher​

When the iron is suspended beneath the wood, the apparent weight of the iron block is less than the actual weight. Thus, the block of wood will float higher.
