A piece of wire 7/8m long brokeinto two pieces . One piece was ¼m long . how long is the other piece ?​

Hey there.

All you need to do is subtract the the length of the broken wire from the original length of the wire

Length of the other broken wire=original length of wire -lenth of broken wire known

Length of broken wire=(7/8)m - (1/4)m=(5/8)m=0.625m
