A piece of wire is 36cm long. what is the length of each side if wire is used to form an isosceles triangle with equal sides 14cm

total length of wire=36cm
let the third side of the isosceles triangle be x
so, perimeter of triangle=sum of all sides

thus , 36=14+14+x
36-28=x
8cm=x

thus sides of the triangle are 14cm,14cm,8cm
