length of wire = perimeter of triangle = 3×4.4 = 13.2 cm
now
circumference of circle = length of wire
2πr = 13.2
r = 13.2×7/2×22
r = 2.1 cm
Area of circle = πr² = 22/7×(2.1)² = 13.86 cm²

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

LENGTH OF WIRE = PERIMETER OF THE TRIANGLE

⇒ 3×side of the triangle = 3 × 4·4 cm = 13·2 cm

now,the wire has been converted into a circular ring

let radius of ring = r

then, circumference of the ring =2 /pi/ R

i.e,         2 /pi/ R= 13.2

⇒2 × 22 / 7 ×r

⇒(132×7 / 10×2×22)cm = 21/10 cm =2.1 cm

∴   diameter =2×2·1  =4·2 cm

hence, the diameter of ring =4·2
