Let the earthworms ate at first night=x
earthworms ate on second night=x+20
earthworms ate on third night=x+20+20=x+40
earthworms ate on fourth night =x+40+20=x+60
therefore,x+x+20+x+40+x+60=924
4x+120=924
4x=924-120
4x=804
x=804/4
x=201

Let pigeon ate no .of earthworm in the first night= F

The common difference is =d

Then,the sequence of his ate F+(F+d)(F+2d)(F+3d)=924

4F+6d=924

D=20

So,

4F+6×20=924

4F+120=924

4F=924-120=804

:;: F=804÷4=201

So the answer is 201
