A pilot took off at 7am from GMT. He will be covering 30 longitudes west to reach his place. At what time will he reach his destination?

when we find the difference of the two degrees (30° and the degree at the GMT) we get 30°. As 1° is equals to 4 minutes we have to multiply 30 by 4 which we will get 120 then. We have to divide 120 by 60 as 1 hour is equals to 60 minutes. We get 2 by dividing 120 by 60. As we all know we must subtract to find the time at the west we should subtract 7:00 a.m. by 2 hours which we will get 5:00 a.m.
