Answer: The resonance will not seen in pipe open at one end.

Explanation:

Given that,

Length l = 30 cm

Frequency f_{s}= 1.1 khz

Speed of sound wave v = 330 m/s

We know that,

Frequency f_{s}= 1.1 khz

Resonant frequency for pipe open at both end

f= \dfrac{n}{2L}v

Resonant frequency for pipe close at one end

f= \dfrac{2m+1}{4L}v

The resonance will be seen when  f_{s} = f

Therefore, the resonance frequency

For m = 0

f= \dfrac{1}{4\times0.3}\times 330

f = 275 hz

For m = 1

f= \dfrac{2+1}{4\times0.3}\times 330

f = 825 hz

For m = 2

f= \dfrac{4+1}{4\times0.3}\times 330

f = 1375 hz

So, f_{s}\neq f for any value of m

Hence, The resonance will not seen in pipe open at one end.
