Hi there !!

We are given that :

Length = 5 cm

Breadth = 3.5 m = 350 cm

Height = ?

SO ,
Here the pit is in the shape of a cuboid.

We are given the volume of the pit as 14 cm³

We know that

Volume of a cuboid = lbh

14cm³ = 5 × 350 × h

Height , h =  \frac{14}{5*350}

= 0.008 cm

SO,
depth of the pit = 0.008 cm

Given,

Length = 5 cm

Breadth = 3.5 m

= 350 cm

Volume = 14 cm³

Volume of cuboidal pit = l * b * h

Here, h = depth

14 = 5 * 350 * h

14 = 1750 * h

h = 14 / 1750

h = 0.008

Depth = 0.008 cm Ans.
