Hello mate!!
The ‘Concord’ airliner had a cruising speed of about 2 140 km/h.
This is much faster than the speed of the earth’s rotation in the northern latitudes from e.g. London to New York.
So, not only it could remain in the same place relative to the sun, but it actually arrived in New York about two hours earlier than the time of its departure.
If the sun had just set at the time of departure, the passengers would see the sun rising from the west.
