let initial speed of the plane be 100kmph

the speed is increased by 33.33%

now the speed of the plane is 133.33 kmph

distance = 1500 kms

speed is inversly proportional to time

In 60minutes the plane is travelled 133.33km

for 1km = 60/133.33

100 km = (60/133.33)*100

=45 min

decreased time is 15 min = 25% of an hour

by increasing the speed of 33.33%,the time will be reduced to 25%.

for 30 mins delay it would be equal to 25%

hence, the total time taken to cover 1500kms is 2 hours

speed = 1500/2

for 30 mins delay it would be equal to 25%

original speed of a plane is =750kmph

speed is increased by 33.33% = (750*33.33)/100

=250kmph

now the new speed of the plane is = 750+250

1000kmph.

hope it will understand;
