Given:

The velocity  of the plane mirror v=4i+5j+8k

The velocity of mirror move is v=3i+4j+5k

To find:

The velocity of the image.

Solution:

The k is the normal to the plane mirror

Therefor the k component the mirror is not moving

V= -5k

When the mirror starts moving the velocity becomes

V=8×2k=16k

Therefore the resultant velocity be 16k-5k=11k

The velocity of the image be

v= 3i+4j+11k

So, the correct velocity be  3i+4j+11k
