a plane take off at 1 January 2018 from Shanghai and landed at 31 December at San Francisco how is it possible....

this can be possible because when it started its journey from shanghai it was the date 1 jan and it went ro san Francisco it travels to the previous day which was gonig on i.e. 31 dec.....
