solution:

Here, Distance travel in one hour from point A with seed of 400km/h = 400km

And, distance travel in next one hour to reach point B with speed of 300km/h = 300km

Now, Distance between AB

Thus, AB = 500km

Now, second plane has to travel 500km in 2 hours

so, required speed= 500/2 = 250km/h

So, correct option is (A) 250km/h

=========================

Given :

Distance travelled in first one hour from

point A = 400 km

Distance travelled in next one hours

to reach point B = 300 km

=========================

To find :

Required speed

=========================

Firstly we have to find distance between

A B

So,

AB² = 400² + 300²

AB² = 160000 + 90000

AB² = 250000

AB = √250000

∴ AB = 500 km

=========================

Now,

 According to the question

 second plane have to travel

 500 km in 2 hours

We know that

Speed = \dfrac{Distance}{time}

Speed=\dfrac{500}{2}\\\\\boxed{Speed=250\:km/h}

=========================

A.100km/h

B.250km/h  ✔

C.500km/h

D.700km/h

∴ OPTION B IS CORRECT
