Answer:

The yellow reason of leaf does not contain green pigment chlorophyll to perform photosynthesis. Therefore it does contain starch and remains same when tested with iodine

Answer-

the variegated or the yellow part of the leaf of the plant doesn't contain chlorophyll which is used to perform the process of photosynthesis in plants. impresence of chlorophyll and photosynthesis in that region of the plant prevents the formation of starch in the yellow region of the plant.
