According to the question, we have to find the area of sheet required to make the box except the top.
so we will use CSA + 1 base formula.
CSA + 1 base of the box = 2h ( l + b ) + lb
= ( 2 × 0.65 ) + 1.5 + 1.25 + ( 1.5 × 0.65 )
= 1.3 + 2.75 + 0.975
= 5.025m²
hence, 5.025m² of plastic sheet is required.
