Area of sheet = T. S. A. of box - area of open side
= 2(lb + bh + hl) - lb
= 2 (12*9 +9*4 +4*12) - 12*9
= 2 ( 108+36+48) - 108
= 2*192 - 108
= 384 - 108
= 276 square metere
