t=2 min 20 sec
=(60(2)+20)sec
=140 sec
no.of rounds=140 sec÷40 sec
=14÷4
=3.5
but displacement is only 0.5 circle,as for every complete round,displacement is 0.
circumference÷2
=displacement
=2r
=2R
