Given :
A playground measures 300 m × 170 m

Find the area of the playground :-

Area = (Length × Breadth) sq. unit
= (300 × 170) m²
= 51000 m²

Convert m² into hectare :-

we know that,
1 m² = 0.0001 hectare
51000 m² = 0.0001 × 51000 = 5.1 hectare

Now,
Find the cost of planting grass at the rate of Rs 80 per hectare :-

1 hectare = Rs 80
5.1 hectare = Rs 80 × 5.1 = Rs 408

Hence,
The cost of planting grass = Rs 408
