Area of the outer rectangle = Length × Breadth

• Length = 60m + ( 2 × 3 )m
= 60m + 6m

• Breadth = 40m + ( 2 × 3 )m
= 40m + 6m
= 46m

= 66m × 46m

Now, Area of path = Area of outer rectangle - Area of inner rectangle
