Hi ,

Dimensions of he ABCD rectangular plot ,

AB = 60m ,

BC = 28m ,

i) Area of the ABCD = length×breadth

= 60m × 28m

= 1680 m^2 ---( 1 )

ii) Radius of the semicircle on BC ( r )

= BC / 2

= 28m / 2

= 14m

r = 14m

Area of the semicircle

= ( pi × r ^2)/ 2

= (22 × 14 × 14 )/ ( 2 × 7 )

= 22 × 14

= 308 m^2

Area of the semicircle = 308m^2--( 2 )

Now , Required area = ( 1 ) + ( 2 )

= 1680 m^2 + 308 m^2

= 1988 m^2

I hope this helps you.
