Answer:

  • if there is only electric field,then the charge will have a straight line path.and it doesn't depends on velocity, because, force on the charge is given by,F=qE
  • but,if there is a magnetic field,then it may have circular or helical motions, because,force on a point charge in magnetic field is given by, F=q(B)

where v is the velocity of the charge..!
