To Find : coordinates  

Solution:

Let say point is P ( x , y)

as point lies on x axis

Hence y coordinate would be zero

so P (x , 0)

Origin is  (0 ,0)

Distance from origin = √(x - 0)² + (0 - 0)²

=  √x²

= | x |  

distance from origin is 10 units

=> | x | = 10

=> x = ± 10

point lies on negative side of X-axis

Hence  x = - 10

so point P is (  - 10 , 0)

coordinates are​ (  - 10 , 0)
