Given:

The m=3/2

To find:

The location of final image with respect to the object.

Solution:

The formula of thickness

t=(1-1/m)

As t=5

5=(1-2/3)

That will be 5/3

So the distance from the image be

=15-5/3

=40/3

The distance from object is 80/3

So, the distance from the final image with respect to object is 80/3

Answer:

Hence separation between object and image is 80/3

Explanation:

The missing image in the question statement is attached. To understand the question, first check the image. Now coming to solution;

Formula of thickness of glass slab is;

T = (1-1/u)

Where u is the thickness index of slab. From the image we can see that thickness is 5 cm.

Now let us calculate the distance from the image

=10  + 5/(3/2)

Solving this we get

=40/3

Hence separation between object and image is 80/3
