A point P is 25 cm from the centre 'O' of the circle and length of the tangent drawn from 'P' to the circle is 24 cm. Find the radius of the circle.

\\

\Huge\bf\pink{Solution}\\

From right angled ∆AOP

➡ OP² = OA² + AP²

➡ (25)² = OA² + (24)²

➡ 625 = OA² + 576

➡ OA² = 625 - 576 = 49 = 7²

➡ OA = 7 cm

.°. The radius of the circle is 7 cm
