Hey !!!
this is your answer.....
Given :- A pole of 14 m cats Shadow of 10 m.
We have to d find the length of that tree whose length of Shadow is 7m.
We know that larger the pole Wii be, larger the length of pole will be.
or smaller the pole, smaller will be its pole.
So, this is a case of direct proportion.
General formula for direct proportion
According to the question,
x1 = 14 m.
y1 = 10 m.
y2 = 7 m.
We have to obtain X2,
Hence, the height of tree will be 9.8 metres.
Hope you got the answer......

Height of pole = 14 m
Length of shadow be 10 m
Than x = height of pole / length of shadow
Than x = 14 / 10 = 1.4
Now at the same time
Length of shadow of tree be 7m
Height of tree be hm
Than x = height of tree / length of shadow of tree
= 1.4 = h/7
= h= 9.8 m.
