When the tree will fall it makes a right angle triangle

let us name is ABC and angle B = 90

And angle A = 30, BC = 30 m

by using trigonometry

sin 30 = BC/AC

    1/2  = 30/AC

AC = 60 m

cos 30 = AB/AC

      √3/2 = AB/60

       AB = (60√3)/ 2

      AB = 30√3 m

length of the pole = 30√3 + 60

                             = 111.96 m
