Given : A pole makes an angle of elevation with the  moon.

length of the  shadow of a pole is twice its height.

To Find : angle of elevation

Solution:

angle of elevation  = α

Tan α = Height of pole / Length of Shadow of Pole

=> Tan α =Height of pole / 2 x Height of pole

=>  Tan α = 1/2

=> Tan α = 0.5

=> α = 26.56°

angle of elevation is 26.56°
