speed of van=30 km/hr=8.33m/s
muzzle speed=150m/s\
speed of thief=192km/hr= 53.33m/s
bullet is fired from moving van resultant speed= 150+8.33=158.33m/s
since both vehicles are moving in same direction, velocity which bullet hits the thief= 158.33-53.33= 105m/s

velocity of van =30 km/hr== 30 x 5/18=8.3 m/s
muzzle velocity of bullet =150 m/s
velocity of thief =192 x 5/18= 53.3 m/s
total velocity of the bullet= 150 + 8.3 = 158.3 m/s

using relative motion of particles

V
₁₂ = V₁ - V₂

158.3 - 53.3= 105m/s
