A polynomial leaves remainder 5 when divided by x-3.it also leaves remainder 7 when divided by x-4.find remainder when it divided by (x-3) (x-4)

P(x)=(x-3)(x-4) Q(x) + a(x)+B

P(3)= 3a+b=5 ___equation-1

P(4)=4a+b=7 ____ equation-2

by eq2 - eq1

A=2 B=-1

Remainder = 2x-1
