204\pi

Step-by-step explanation:

Let pond radius =50m

Let pond radius =50mThen, radius of pond + walk =52m

Let pond radius =50mThen, radius of pond + walk =52mThen, the area of walk is

Let pond radius =50mThen, radius of pond + walk =52mThen, the area of walk is π×(522−502)

Answer:

D= 100 m

R= 100/2 = 50 m

Area =

\pi {r}^{2}

Diameter of pond + width of the grass path = 100 + 2m= 102m

Raidus = 102/2= 51 m

Area of path = Area of pond + grass path - Area of pond

\pi(r1 ^{2}  - r2 {}^{2} )

= 22/7 ( 51² - 50²)

= 22/7 (51+50) (51-50)

= 22/7 × 101×1

= 2222/7

Hence Area of the path is 2222/7 m²
