Solution:

Length of pool = 20 m

Breadth of pool = 15 m

Depth of pool = 4 m

Area of 4 walls =2(l+b)h=2(20+15)(4)=280 sq.m.

Area of floor = lb = $20 \times 15 =300 sq.m.$

Total area of area of 4 walls and area of floor = 280+300=580 sq.m.

Cost of cementing 1 sq.m. = Rs.12

Cost of cementing 580 sq.m. = $12 \times 580=6960$

Hence The cost of cementing its floor and its walls is Rs.6960
