⠀⠀

Let the original no. be x and 5x

⠀⠀⠀⠀

Acc. to the given statement :-

⠀⠀⠀⠀

2 (x + 21) = 5x + 21

⠀⠀⠀⠀

2x + 42 = 5x + 21

⠀⠀⠀⠀

2x - 5x = 21 - 42

⠀⠀⠀⠀

-3x = - 21

⠀⠀⠀⠀

3x = 21

⠀⠀⠀⠀

x = 21 / 3

⠀⠀

x = 7

⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • Putting value of x in no.'s

⠀⠀⠀⠀

First no. = x = 7

⠀⠀⠀⠀

Second no. = 5x = 5 × 7 = 35
