x=150*100/30
x=500kg

Here's your answer!

Let the total amount of potatoes be x.
Potatoes sold already = 70% of x
Potatoes left = 150 kg which is 30% [100 - 70] of x

That is, 30x/100 = 150 kg
30x = 15000
x = 15000/30 = 500 kg
