V = 200V

Resistance= 440 ohm

Time = 20 sec .

Now , V = IR

→ 200=I ×440

→ I = 200/440

→ I = 0.45A .

Now ,

P = V^2/R

W /t =200×200/440

W /20= 200×200×/440

W = 200×200×20/440

W = 1818.18J . or , 0.18×10^-4J

Solution:

Given,

  • Potential Difference = 220 V
  • Resistance of Conductor = 440 Ω
  • Time taken by Conductor = 20 Seconds

So, We have to find the Current drawn of an electrical appliances.

Using Ohms Law to solve this Question:

V = I×R

☞ 220 = I × 440

☞ I = 220/440

☞ I = 22/44

☞ I = 0.5 A

( Answer )

Hence, Required Current is 0.5 A.

°•° Also We have to find the heat consumed by electric appliance.

Using Heat's Formula :

☞ Heat = Power × time

☞ Heat = VI × 20

☞ Heat = (220 × 0.5 ) × 20

☞ Heat = 2200 joules

razi88: let me know v =220 , r =440 i=?
razi88: i=v/r =220/440=1/2=0.5
razi88: H = v*i*t= 220*0.5*20 (t=20 )given
razi88: =2200 joule
