Powdered tin is Cuboid in shape as the base is of square with the side length as height.
If the base of powder tin is square
then,
h=8cm,
l=h=13cm,
b=8cm
lbh=capacity
=8*8*13
=832cm³
r=7cm
h(cylinder) =15cm
volume of cylinder=πr²h
=22/7*7*7*15
=22*7*15
=2310cm³
Difference between their capacities=2310-832
=1478cm³
