A power transmission line feeds input power at 2300v to a step-down transformer with its primary windings having 4000 turns. What should be the number of turns in the secondry in order to get output power at 230v

Given primary voltage, ${ V}{ p }$ = 2300 V
secondary voltage, ${ V}
{ s }$ = 230 V
Primary turns ${ N}_{ p }$ = 4000 turns
Here, we assume that the transformer is ideal.No1 power loss in the form of heat,etc.
Using the formula,

${ N}_{ s }$ = 400

Hey !!

Given, Vp = 2300 V , Np = 4000 turns , Vs = 230 V

We need to find Ns = ?

  We have , Vs / Vp = Ns / Np

              = Ns = Vs / Vp × Np

                  = 230 / 2300 × 4000

Final result = 400 turns.

Good luck !!
