(a) Prabhu has a rectangular farm which has a length of 18 m and a breadth of 12 m. The cost of fencing the farm is 30 per m, and the cost of ploughing the farm is 90 per sq. m. Find the total price Prabhu must pay to fence and plough the farm​

area = length × breadth

= 18 × 12 = 216m

cost of fencing 1 m = ₹30

cost of fencing 216 m = 30×216= ₹6480

cost of ploughing 1 m = ₹90 = 216 × 90 = ₹ 19440

= ₹6480 + ₹19440

= ₹25,920

= Prabhu had to pay ₹ 25,920 for fencing and ploughing the farm.

Answer:

first u write formula of rectangular perimeter =2(l+b)=2(18+12)

=2(30)

=60m

cost of fencing=(60)(30)

=1800

so,the cost of fencing=rupees 1800
