Given that , Pressure = 60 Pascal

Area = 2m sq.

Now, Pressure = Force / Area

60= F/2

Force = 60×2

so,the force will be 120 N

The force applied by the  given pressure on the surface will be 120 N

Pressure

The force applied perpendicular to the surface of an object per unit area over which that force is distributed.pressure is a vector quantity and its unit is pascal

Types of pressure

(1) Absolute Pressure

(2)Gauge Pressure

(3) Differential Pressure

(4)Sealed Pressure.

Formula of pressure

pressure=perpendicular force/area

Given:

Pressure $=60 \mathrm{Pascal}$

Area$=2 \mathrm{~m} \mathrm{sq}$.

Step by step solution

Pressure$=$ Force $/$ Area

Substitute the given values

$60=F / 2$

Force$=60 \times 2$

=120 N

Hence the  force will be $120 \mathrm{~N}$
