(r = Range)
 r \:  =  \:  {20 }^{2}  \times  \sin(90) \div 10
So, r = 40m

I hope this will help you ✌.

When the projectile is fired from a gun at an angle of 45° with the horizontal and with a speed of 20 m/s the projectile covers the maximum horizontal range.

We know, Horizontal range R = (v^2*sin2x)/g where

g = acceleration due to gravity (9.80 m/s2) and v = intial velocity.

So in this case R = 40.82 m (Ans)
